Shoemaster Forma is the leading last modelling system, enabling a wide range of changes to be made to the shape of a last with the minimum of time and effort.
Powerful visual modelling tools allow the last maker to sculpt or combine lasts to create any shape they require. The amended last can then be instantly checked for correct dimensions and graded according to user-defined rules. The final results can be milled on a wide range of CNC milling machinery.

Shoemaster Forma allows the skilled last maker to perform every function within the CAD environment that they would normally do manually. It's speed and accuracy, however, is far ahead of any manual process. For the less skilled, Forma greatly simplifies conventional manual tasks, bringing them within the capability of a far wider range of personnel.
Shoemaster Forma also integrates fully with the Shoemaster shoe design and pattern engineering systems. Con la finalidad de incrementar la competitividad de las empresas del sector calzado, reducir los costos y mejorar la calidad, la Secretaría de Desarrollo Económico Sustentable creó el "Programa de Desarrollo de la Competitividad de las MiPYMES del Sector Calzado Mediante la Implementación, Capacitación y Consultoría de Diseño Asistido por Computadora”, con el apoyo de la Secretaría de Economía y el soporte técnico del CIATEC.

Así, en el marco del proyecto de mejora de la cultura tecnológica, se desarrolló el software "DIDACTICAD” para que sea implementado por las pequeñas y medianas empresas de calzado en el estado.

"DIDACTICAD” tiene como objetivo principal, elevar la competitividad de las MIPYMES Guanajuatenses por medio del uso de tecnologías de diseño y desarrollo de producto, asistidas por computadora, compatibles a los sistemas internacionales.

De esta manera 100 micro, pequeñas y medianas empresas Guanajuatenses del Sector Cuero-Calzado serán beneficiadas en el uso del software 2D y 3D, denominado "DIDACTICAD”.
