Thread length calculation modified such that with tension B (stitch in bore), 1/3 of the length of the needle thread is used for shuttle thread.

Over stitch function modified such that it also functions if there are several further stitches between the over stitches.
"Exchange needle pattern" modified such that on exchanging it is possible to copy any existing ini information.

Default values for double sequin 2 changed to Ø4mm and Ø5mm.
On the context menu for the 2D graphic view, menu command "Repeat gray" added. If this command is activated, repeats are displayed in gray. If this command is deactivated, repeats are displayed in the same color as the stitch pattern.

New optimizer "Tension elements" added.
"Equalize repeats" modified such that equalized areas are marked in color for easy visual checking.
Calculation for distributing stitches for the soutache and LTC stitch distribution functions improved such that the newly calculated stitches follow the old ones more accurately (especially for long stitches).,

User interface

It’s all on screen, in its icons and menus. ElitronCad has a rational and intuitive user interface. It features a large working area, a top toolbar containing all the functions shared by the modules and floating toolbars for the specific functions of the given module.
The On-line help available in each single phase makes the daily work easy also for operators without computer training.
Modular system

ElitronCad has been designed with complementary and independent modules. You can begin with the most useful modules and then add others as circumstances require.The modules of the ElitronCad for leathergoods are five:

CAD/CAM SYSTEM FOR CROCHET MACHINES
COMEZ DRAW 3 is a CAD/CAM program for the creation of pattern drafts and automatic programming of COMEZ electronic machines.
An ideal tool which allows users to create the full range of patterns that can be realised using COMEZ crochet machines - both with electronically controlled bars and mechanical drive (link chain) - whatever the number of bars and whatever the type of production.
COMEZ DRAW 3 offers many advantages, is easy to use and cuts down considerably on design times, which are reduced even further by allowing images to be imported by means of a scanner. Thanks to the realistic simulated display of the end result, and the possibility of automatically calculating yarn feed settings based on their movements, machine sampling times can also be reduced considerably.
Automatic yarn consumption calculations allow users to quickly perform cost estimates.
Library archives of movements contained in COMEZ DRAW 3 allow even less experienced users to create patterns without difficulty.
Controls verifying the congruency of movements (coherence of the pattern with the numeric representation/link and vice-versa) are performed automatically, reducing test times on the machine.

"Introduction"
Conventions adopted in this documentation.
There are several conventions (standard Window application terms and procedures) that the
operator should be aware of before starting to work with this C.A.D. / C.A.M. package.
If you are conversant with Windows and the standards it uses for user interface, you can skip this
introduction, otherwise we strongly recommend that you read it before proceeding.
In any event, we recommend that the operator consults the Glossary of technical terms. This
will ensure easier comprehension of the explanatory notes in this documentation.
This documentation, which is supplied with each installation of the "CAD/3" software package,
is available in various forms; it is therefore possible to consult it in the form of on-line help on
the computer, or in the hard copy manual version.
The manual is divided into "Chapters" and "Headings", while the on-line help is divided
according to "Topics".
Each heading of the manual corresponds to a Help topic, describing in full each individual
command of the "CAD/3" package.
All the commands implemented in this C.A.D. system are sorted according to topic and included
in 10 Pull-down menus.
Each pull-down menu has a title, all 10 of which are displayed in the Menu bar.
Moreover, many of the more frequently used commands in this C.A.D. system are provided in
the form of Icons.
Also the icons are sorted according to the same method used for the commands, so that the
Toolboxes have the same title as the pull-down menus to which they relate.
Almost all the commands of this C.A.D. system, once they have been activated, call up the
relevant Dialog-box to guide the operator and facilitate data input.
A dialog-box is normally composed of a Caption, one or more Edit fields, one or more Selectable
options, and one or more Command button.
All the commands in this "CAD/3" package can be activated either using the Keys on the
keyboard or the Mouse.
However, the most effective solution is to use both the keyboard and the mouse, depending on
the circumstances.
We therefore recommend that the operator should read the information under Using the mouse
and Using the keys.
If you are using the on-line Help you will note that there are several words highlighted in green.
There are two types:
- normal - with broken underlining,
- bold - with continuous underlining,
Furthermore, by positioning the cursor (normally an arrow symbol) on these text items, they will
switch to a pointing hand symbol with the index finger raised. See below.
